# Using AI Question/Answer

On your first ever click of the AI button, it'll pull up AI settings:

Click the Get API Key... button to launch Google AI Studio, sign in with your account and create a new Project. Obtain a key and enter it in the box.&#x20;

Next up, select a Model. if you're on a free plan, its best to check Rate Limits to ensure you choose a model that you can actually use.

After this setup, clicking the AI button launches the AI Q/A window.

Type in a question, and hit **`Enter`**. You will then get a response generated by Google Gemini's AI.
